Meet the BI Empowerment Team

We are a young,  professional and fun team with a passion for youth empowerment. First up, we have Tokunbo Fasoro, we call her Toks. She is the Managing Partner at BI Solutions Nigeria, a Certified HR Professional and the Founder of BI Empowerment. She is vibrant, fun and loves to meet people. Her passion is to see young people discover what they want to become early in life and work hard to achieve it. Toks loves to chat with people and a chilled bottle of coke, on a sunny Lagos afternoon will win her heart. Next up , we have Ayo Akpewe, we call her Ayo. She is a Partner at BI Solutions Nigeria, a certified Digital Project Manager and the Lead Digital Consultant/Head of Operations. She has a passion for all things digital and you are likely to find her stuck in front of her laptop or any mobile device. IF YOU CAN THINK IT The first time I heard this slogan (If You Can Think It, You Can Do It)  was on a talk show “Moments with Mo” and I just fell in love with it. That phrase my mind set at that particular time. Growing up, I realized I had an inferiority complex. I felt everyone was better than me. It was so bad I remember a particular time that I thought Igbos were superior to the Yorubas and would always wish and tell people that I was an Igbo girl forgetting or even to young to understand that my name was a Yoruba name. I was always bullied in school, many times, my classmates would push my bed outside to the corridor and I would not mind just because I did not think I was good enough to be their friend and I wanted acceptance from them. Mrs.Kehinde Iyiola, the CEO of Finesse events. One of the top event planning outfits in Nigeria speaks to the BI Empowerment team. Who is Kehinde Iyiola? Kehinde Iyiola is a lover of God, wife and a mother. I was birthed into a family of all girls and happened to be the 3rd or 4th child of the family. I’m a twin so am  always at war between myself and my twin sister of who is older. Attended Ascon Staff School, Badagry for my primary education. Lagos State Model College Secondary School, Kankon and  Lagos State University where I studied Law. I understand you weren’t born with a silver spoon, Did you have a particular mindset to succeed or did it just happen? I never wanted to be ordinary or dependent on anyone for financial support. Who is Opeyemi Oduwole? Opeyemi Oduwole, the first child to Mr. & Dr. (Mrs.) Oduwole attended University of Lagos Staff School, Federal Government Girls College Akure and University of Lagos where she studied Chemical Engineering. A banker by profession with a specialization in wealth management and advisory, Ope believes in helping people. Her satisfaction on the job is derived from helping clients’ plan, grow and transfer their wealth. With a personal passion to see as many people as possible succeed in their chosen careers and also see them make wise investment choices early in life. Ope has been motivating people since NYSC, with series of motivational talks across Secondary Schools during NYSC.
