Article By Opeyemi Komolafe HEY……..STOP THAT!! Yes, you……stop it!!!! What is that thing, now a habit that is sabotaging the achievement of your goals? What is that activity that you love so much that is a hindrance to you taking the timely and calculated steps towards the achievement of your life’s purpose. They are not always bad things. They might appear to be harmless little actions or habits that make you do the opposite of pursuing your life’s goal. For me, it is television. I loooooooooove TV!!!!! I always tell myself that it helps me unwind and relax after a long hard day so the hours I spend watching tv are slotted under the section of ‘work/life balance’ or ‘helping Ope relax and prevent her from pulling her hair from the roots.’ Watching tv is not necessarily bad, but its effects on me became glaring after a recent decision by my husband that cable network would not be subscribed to during the school term.
